Flower Paintings

These are some postcard-sized flower paintings that I did.  After painting the pink flower, I went back and added a black ink outline on top.  The blue flower below is based off a photograph of a hydrangea that I found on the web.  Both paintings are acrylic on paper.

Sunday Funnies

Many progressive church congregations are becoming involved in advocacy on a number of topics.  These include environmental issues, immigration reform, health care, gun safety, civil and human rights, and more.  What follows is a series of of comic panels that I did to encourage environmental activism among church members.  I attempted to play up the fact that traditionally, people read the comics section in the newspaper in addition to attending church on Sunday.  Click "read more" to view the entire strip.

Thank You Note Designs

Here are two different thank you notes that I designed.
The first card, which features an illustration with text on the interior, is a visual pun. The second is just a quick experiment with shape, colors, and lines.
